Set within a lagoon on the North male Atol the coral island is surrounded by a perfect beach for playing with the kids or lazing the day away.
All the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fan.
The
beds were very comfortable and we didn't notice any mossies or creepy crawlies.
The diving was the reason we went and we were not disappointed. Vis was
20-30 metes or more on most morning dives. As you trace round a reef edge
on a fast drift dive the water is teeming with life. Parrotfish, Rays, Reef
Shark and all the usual suspects of the Indian Ocean are there. The turtles
were very inquisitive which is not something I have encountered before.
The tiny nudibranchs came in a million variations of color and the coral below 5 meters had all recovered from the el Nino disaster of a few years back. The tragic Tsunami doesn't seem to have caused problems for the wildlife here.

The Padi dive centre staff were the usual rabble of friendly sun kissed sea-gods and goddesses, always eager to help us get the most out of our dives.
The island itself is small. No more than the size of a few football pitches, and so evening entertainments were sparse, but we entertained ourselves and grew to relish the Meerufenfushi pace of life. We would come back but next time will ensure we get more comfy airplanes seating.
