Komandoo is a dive resort on the maldives that really delivers.
Spectacular beachfront villas and brand new water villas (built after the tsunami of december 04) are available at the Komandoo four star resort, located on the Lhaviyani Atoll.

Review of the Komandoo Resort
Horizontal living is how we remember Komandoo. Wether it was scuba diving, snorkelling, lying on the sun loungers, lying in our four poster bed or lying on the sand, we were forever horizontal.
The room had all the expected amenities like air con, ceiling
fan
mini-bar ,tea & coffee making facilities, private safe, telephone and
best of all, a private sun deck. The inside-out bathroom is a pleasure I will
leave you to discover for yourself. I want one just like it in my new house.
Komandoo is a small island just 100 meters wide by 500 meters long and ringed
by stunning white sand. The weather on Komandoo is between 35 and 40 in November
when we visited.

Underwater we found that Turtles, Mantas, Sharks and Rays were commonplace discoveries. The diving was really what it was all about. PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses run each week at the Komandoo ProDivers centre where the staff are both friendly and relaxed.
The dining was definitely four star (occasionally higher) and the Komandoo all inclusive option proved to be tremendous value. We really loved our holiday on Komandoo and hope you do too.
