In the film ghostbusters, the team used technology to capture ghosts. You can buld equipment yourself to hunt and record the activites of ghosts and spectres.
1) Summoning Ghosts
Many spiritualists and mediums say they can summon ghosts using seances or ouija boards.
2) Visit a haunted house
Setting up your equipment in a supposedly haunted house will probably be more productive than attempting to summon a ghost in a place that no ghost has ever been recorded before. Ghosts are believed to be tied to places rather than people (except poltergeists which are said to follow individual people regardless of location) so going to a haunted house does seen sensible.
