Greek Islands: Poros

One of the Saronic islands close to Athens.

The beaches on Poros are small, shaded and calm but have rough sand.spend long evenings looking at wonderful islands.

Poros is the perfect island for a day trip from Athens, but if Athens is your main objective, consider staying on Poros and hopping across to the capital on the regular ferries that take only 45 minutes.

Poros my change your life starting with a quick stroll around slate blue boutiques, leading to long lazy days dreaming of nothing but Poros' aquamarine ocean views. You can climb to your hearts content on attractive coast walks or just hang around in the most lovely resorts, making friends, drinking uzo and marvelling at the joys of this lovely greek island.

As you can tell, I am a bit of a fan of Poros. I think you will become one too.

Cost of Ferry?

If we stay on Poros and visit Athens (Piraeus) every day, won't the Ferry cost a fortune?
