Classic Bagatelle
Classic Bagatelle is an early version of pinball. Bagatelle is a pub game that can now be purchased in smaller versions for home use.
The name Bagatelle these days is far more likely to conjure up the image of the children's pastime where ball bearings are shot onto a board which features areas fenced in by nails hammered into its surface.
A spring loaded plunger launch the ball which then bounces around the pins.
These lovely wooden boards would be a welcome gift for a man who likes games.
