Easter Skiing
In Europe, Easter is considered as the last big week of the ski season. Tens of thousands jet off to the Alps for a week of skiing, snow boarding, tobogganing and generally messing about in the powdery snow.

France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria are the most popular locations. Because it is getting to the end of the season, the most popular resorts are those with lots of snow. These tend to be the higher resorts such as Tignes and Les Deux Alpes in France; Obergurgl in Austria and Zermatt, Saas Fee and Verbier in Switzerland .
Do be careful about sudden warm snaps leading to lack of snow so late in the season. Many people opt for late booking so they can follow the snow and be guaranted a white easter.
