Easy chicken soup for four people

Cheap and cheerful and 100 percent guaranteed to cure every disease known
to medical science. At least thats what my Oma always said. Kudos and respect
to the people of Abraham for giving us chicken soup. May your soup bowls always
be full and may your grandchildren get an ology.
1litre of good chicken stock
1 finely chopped carrot
1 finely chopped stick of celery
1 portion uncooked Sharwoods egg noodles (or similar brand)
100g shredded cooked chicken (the remains of yesterday's roast dinner)
50g frozen peas (optional)
chopped fresh parsley
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
Boil the stock and veg together in a medium saucepan. Once the stock is boiling, Add the noodles and boil for 4 minutes. Next add the shredded chicken boil for a further 4 minutes Season to taste and throw in the chopped parsley before dishing it up.
