This really is a super book for getting to grips with stats. It meets the A-level requirements of Statistics as a subject in its own right and as a part of the Mathematics sylabus. Written in an easy to read style, what really marks it out are the vast number of worked examples, exercises and projects.

This
title has a clear topic by topic approach. The learning summaries are comprehensive,
as are the syllabus checklists, examiner's tips; key point highlights, progress
checks, model answers. We particularly recommend the sample questions, and
the hints& tipsareas. On top of all that, the excellent graphics, diagrams
and design all add up to a great revision title.

This
book contains pretty much the whole curriculum in depth. The content was well
thought out, the chapters were sensibly divided and the book was easy to get
around. If you want us to be picky, then we found issues with both the writing
style and design which we thought could have been a fraction clearer. This
is not a bad revision book in any way and the price is very reasonable.
