How to make a Toga
Even Archaeologists get invited to parties.
So when you go to a Roman Fancy Dress Party you have to make a toga. However other archaeologists and historians are picky people, so getting the detail right counts.
Here are the instructions for how to make a toga that will wow everybody.
First get a piece of red cloth 18ft by 6ft (Yes I know it seems way too big, but trust me).
Also get 25 feet of purple ribbon.
Now cut the large red cloth as shown by the dotted red line below.

The curve of the D shape should be edged with purple ribbon.
Now
put on a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt.
Secure one corner of the toga to the shorts at the waist on the right side of the body and wrap it round the front like a skirt so it reaches below the knees. Come all the way back to the right side and then
Throw the rest of the toga across your chest and over your left shoulder. Pin it at the shoulder using a decorative pin. The rest of the toga cloth can now be wrapped aound your waist again and tucked or pinned to secure it.
