Frustration today at the annoncement that the AQA Exam Board will no longer be offering a GCSE in Archaeology to school pupils. Since they were the oly board offering the course, this leaves the UK with no place for young archaeologists to study the subject until they get to Higher Education

Sichester Open days were a big success. Extra features this year were the displays of Roman wool dying and spinning along with the "syncronised shifing chairs to get into the shade and out of the flippin' sun."

Congratulations to Mike, Amanda and the Volunteers for bringing Silchester to life again.
