... And then spent most of the next month with Doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, witch-doctors, faith healers and a Swedish masseuse called Frida, attempting to fix my back which seized up in the days following the last field walking trip. I feel like suing someone, but attempting to take 8,000 year old hunter-gathers to court would probably be more trouble than its worth.

Meanwhile, for anyone who has signed up to the newarchaeology.com electronic newsletter; all I can ask is that you wait just a little longer. We are battling time and technology and hope to have a new verified emailing system in place within a few weeks.

Can I also ask anyone who wants to promote upcoming archaeological events to drop us a line. We are going to include a calendar of talks, digs, and open days, etc in the new format newsletter.

Requests for 3d object files have been flooding in recently. I have agreed to help recreate a Roman legion's standard, so any good references would be welcome.
