Nice spot for a seminar.
The overtaking lane of the M4 motorway yesterday witnessed a seminar on Anglo-Saxon burial practices. Caught in a three hour traffic jam close to junction 10 of the motorway, Chris Brown ended up using the westbound carrageway as a temporary lecture theatre after fellow motorists asked to hear Chris' lecture in order to relieve the tedium. Chris delivered his lecture to a group of five motorists who shared food and drinks while waiting for the removal of the jackknifed lorry which closed the M4 in both directions for over three hours. Chris described the reception of his paper very positively.
